Photographer, travel junkie, hopeless romantic, and self-proclaimed latte expert. Born in Colorado and raised in the hot, dry plains of Oklahoma—where the land is flat and the sunsets stretch for miles (which probably explains my love for wide-open fields...quirky, I know). Michigan has been home for most of my life, and I’ve grown to adore it. Between you and me? The west side is—no questions asked—the best side.
The most compelling element of my work will always be you. I believe photographs should be intentional—full of feeling—and able to transport you back to a moment that has passed, yet remains familiar. Capturing who you are and what you’ve felt: your nervous anticipation, the smile you think is awkward, your unshakable joy, your bold, vibrant spirit. Every bit of it matters.
Since I was little, I’ve been captivated by the way a photograph can hold onto something fleeting. An instantaneous moment, frozen in time. A reminder of how precious this life is, and how lucky we are to live it.
